Fanatics, the global sports digital ecosystem, and Crypto.com exchange have unveiled a new product: Fanatics Markets, a prediction marketplace. The project is the result of a strategic partnership between the two companies and has already launched in several US states. Users can access the platform through a dedicated mobile app available for iOS and Android.

The service is planned to be rolled out in two sequential stages. In the initial phase, traders will be offered contracts related to key events in the economy, politics, and the sports industry. This will allow users to make predictions not only on match outcomes but also on broader social and financial processes.

In the second phase, the project's creators intend to significantly expand the range of available markets. In the future, Fanatics Markets will offer contracts related to cryptocurrency and stock markets, as well as areas such as art, climate change, modern technology, and other sectors shaping the global agenda.

The technical infrastructure, including trade processing and clearing, is handled by CDNA, a subsidiary of Crypto.com. The company is registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), allowing it to operate legally and offer users fully legal financial instruments.

At launch, Fanatics Markets is available in 24 U.S. states. Project representatives note that the current geographic coverage is just the first step, and they plan to expand the service nationwide. A key focus is on mobile ease of use and an intuitive interface.

Fanatics Betting and Gaming CEO Matt King emphasized that the company has been developing fan culture for many years, offering fans team merchandise, collectibles, tickets, games, and event participation. According to him, the launch of Fanatics Markets opens up a new format of engagement for the audience—the opportunity not only to follow significant events in sports and culture but also to profit from successful predictions. Particular attention is paid to user security and the transparency of all operations.

This partnership isn't Crypto.com's first foray into the prediction market through a licensed infrastructure. The exchange has previously entered into similar agreements with platforms such as Hollywood.com and Truth Social, providing them with access to its regulated subsidiary's services.

The launch of Fanatics Markets reflects growing interest in prediction markets as an alternative financial instrument that combines elements of trading and analytics. The participation of major brands and the clearing operator's regulatory status could play a key role in the further development of this segment in the US.
